I’ve posted many of the links to these pieces elsewhere on this site but this page is for showcasing all the articles I’ve written during my time as a Marketing Intern at the JCC of Greater Baltimore in Owings Mills.

On The Spectrum: This piece is a fairly personal column I wrote for the 2018 edition of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month about my experiences as someone with an Asperger’s syndrome diagnosis/on the autism spectrum.

Bodybuilding 101: The Importance of Discipline and Diet-This is a profile of two of the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC’s fitness trainers who also happen to be competitive bodybuilders and the intense practice they put in to stay in shape both before and after competitions.

JCC Members Become Fitness Trainers-I’ll be the first person to admit this isn’t exactly the catchiest title I’ve ever had for a story. Still, this story about three Owings Mills JCC members who used their JCC memberships to get in shape at the Owings Mills JCC’s Fitness center and then used that as a springboard into teaching JCC fitness classes themselves is worth your while.

The Shapiro Aquatics Park: 40 Incredible Years-As you can probably tell from the title, this piece was written to mark the 40th anniversary of the Shapiro Aquatics Park, the oldest and one of the most important parts of the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC. It takes a look at how the park got started, how it’s grown since it first opened in 1977, and where the people who run it would like to see it go over the next few years.

Making A Splash-This piece is about a series of renovations to the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC’s indoor pool, for which the pool was closed for the entirety of August 2017.

The Joy of Resounding Sound-This article is about a series of upgrades made over the course of 2016 and the first half of 2017 to the Gordon Center For Performing Arts, especially a massive overhaul of the sound system.

Evan Huckfeldt Story-My first article for the JCC was a profile of Evan Huckfeldt, a Stevenson University Residential Life Department official who used his JCC membership to help get himself in shape.
